In order to help unemployed youth of Dharampuri, a backward district in Tamil Nadu, Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC) is opening up a facility with the aid of Apparel Export and Promotion Council (AEPC) on May 31.
The training centre would be inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Textiles E V K S Elangovan.
The facility is offering specially devised vocational courses on garment manufacturing and provides opportunity for the trainees get adapted to the readymade garment industry.
