INTC to address worldwide technologies

Advances in nonwovens technology around the world, with a focus on sustainability, will be the highlight of the International Nonwovens Technical Conference (INTC), scheduled for September 24-27, 2007 at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta, Ga.

The world's largest technical conference, co-sponsored by INDA and TAPPI, Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry, will feature presentations from dozens of researchers and experts from around the world during the four days of technical sessions (including a number focusing on filtration and nonwoven technologies to make filter products), tutorials and networking.

Sessions during the four days of INTC will focus on Binders & Additives, Building & Industrial Mats, Filtration, Flame Retardants, Insulation, Meltblown/Spunbond, Modeling, Nanotechnology, Polymers & Processes, Protective Materials and Surface Enhancements.

In addition a Meltblow, Electrospin, Spunbond, and Spunlace Tutorial will provide new and experienced industry professionals with an orientation into key areas of these important technologies. The Tutorial will be led by Gajanan Bhat and Larry Wadsworth, both from the University of Tennessee.
