Taiwan is vital for India's trade; it has a matchless record of more than 90% of the world's market share in computers 70% in semiconductors, 50% in liquid crystal display (LCD) and 44% in integrated circuit (IC) design.
Taiwan is also way ahead of most countries in the areas of biotechnology and nanotechnology. Taiwan has a very strong manufacturing sector and a well-developed service sector like many developed economies.
