The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is pleased to inform that H E Mr. Simon MBOSO KIAMPUTU, Industry Minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo will be visiting India from 3 – 6 September 2007.
CII is organizing an interactive session with H E Mr. Simon MBOSO KIAMPUTU, Industry Minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo on 5th September at 1600 hrs at CII Headquarters, 23 Institutional Area, Lodi Road, New Delhi.

DRC is the largest country to Central Africa, which is rich in natural and human resources as well as considerable and varied mineral resources.
Historically, mining of copper, cobalt, diamonds, gold and other base metals, zinc and petroleum extraction accounted for about 75% of total export revenues and about 25% of the country's GDP. India's relationship with DRC is on an upswing and have recently reopened the Indian embassy in that country.
