CII would be organizing an “India reception” on the sidelines of the WEF meet. The meet is also a platform to showcase the India Inc. Going Global programme, launched by CII to create a sustainable ecosystem, which can accelerate the creation of multinational corporations from India.
The ecosystem comprises CII, global Indian companies, emerging multinational corporations, strategic consulting firms and knowledge partners in academia.
Four global Indian companies are partners to the WEF Dalian meet. These include Infosys, Reliance, HCL and Financial Technologies. Also a partner is the Government of Gujarat, with the Chief Minister, Narendra Modi, leading a 25-member strong government and business delegation from the state.
Gujarat has also taken up a booth at the Summit to showcase Gujarat's spirit of enterprise and innovation and will be utilizing the platform to build partnerships, invite investments and create greater awareness on business opportunities. The Chief Minister will also be meeting global business and government leaders on the sidelines of the Summit.
