Wholesale trade sales up in July

Wholesale trade sales increase in real terms.

Wholesale trade sales, at constant (2000) prices, for the three months ending July 2007 increased by 4.6% compared with the three months ending July 2006. Seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales, at constant (2000) prices, for the three months ending July 2007 decreased by 0.7% compared with the previous three months.

Wholesale trade sales, at constant (2000) prices, for the first seven months of 2007 increased by 7.1% compared with the first seven months of 2006. Furthermore, wholesale trade sales, at constant (2000) prices, for July 2007 increased by 3.8% compared with July 2006. This increase is lower than the 8.4% growth reported for the corresponding period in 2006.

Wholesale trade sales increase at current prices:
Wholesale trade sales, at current prices, for the three months ending July 2007 increased by 16.7% compared with the three months ending July 2006. The 16.7% increase is higher than the 15.3% growth for the corresponding period in 2006.

Wholesale trade sales, at current prices, for the first seven months of 2007 increased by 19.1% compared with the first seven months of 2006. Similarly, wholesale trade sales, at current prices, for July 2007 increased by 15.2% compared with July 2006.
