Shri D.P. Jadeja, Director (Cluster Development), Textiles Committee, Mumbai in his address highlighted the cluster development initiatives taken up by Textiles Committee in Nadia, West Bengal and impacts there upon on the productivity, product diversification, design developments, etc.
Shri B. Naik, Assistant General Manager, NABARD, Kolkata, briefly elaborated about different initiatives taken up by NABARD for the economic development of the artisans and weavers of the rural India. He briefed how the rural innovative fund helps in protecting the IPR of the artisans and weavers.
