He suggested the possibilities of collaboration with Norway in sectors such as hydrocarbons, fisheries, shipping & ship building, hydro-electricity, tunneling and environment, where Norway has core competence.
Shri Chidambaram also met Mr. Eric Solheim, the Norwegian Minister for International development and Environment. The two ministers exchanged their country's position on climate change issues.
The Finance Minister is accompanied by a business delegation comprising IT, Banking, shipping and petroleum sectors.
