FICCI and Ministry of Textiles are jointly organising a Conference on "Indian Textiles Industry: Strategy for Growth & Competitiveness" as per the following schedule:

Shri A K Singh, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles has kindly agreed to inaugurate the Conference.
In the Tex-Summit 2007 Hon'ble Prime Minister had announced a number of policy initiatives for the growth and development of Indian textiles sector.
Some of the policy initiatives announced by Prime Minister were Textiles Investment Regions for territorial Textiles Investment and Production Complexes (TTIPC); Skill development in textile sector; Market Development, Product Diversification and Brand Promotion for Indian textile industry.
In order to discuss and deliberate on these issues FICCI and Ministry of Textiles are jointly organising the Conference.
