The Government of India have formulated following schemes for encouraging handloom sector in the Eleventh Five Year Plan:-
• Integrated Handlooms Development Scheme
• Marketing and Export Promotion Scheme
• Handloom Weavers' Comprehensive Welfare Scheme
• Mill Gate Price Scheme
• Diversified Handloom Development Scheme
