The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) was honored with two gold awards at the 2007 Trends All-Media Contest, sponsored by Association Trends magazine.

The Salute to Association Excellence awards ceremony will be held February 15 in Washington D.C.

IFAI magazines were awarded:
Gold: Industrial Fabric Products Review in the Trade Association Magazine, print, category

Gold: Geosynthetics in the Scholarly/Technical/Scientific Journal category

More than 400 entries were submitted to the contest:
Judges for the Scholarly/Technical/Scientific Journal category commented that "This journal knows its audience well.

The technical complexities of the topics covered are discussed in clear language specific to the task. Design and layout are excellent for the readership.

We suspect members of the association sometimes wait impatiently for each the next issue of this journal and keep many of them."

Mary Hennessy, publisher, IFAI, says, "We were up against some pretty strong competition. As an association, our magazines are designed to meet the needs of our members and the entire industry.

The 2007 Trends contest compares our magazines to others within our business-to-business genre, so we are truly on equal footing.

Being awarded the gold in the Trade Association Magazine (print) and Scholarly/Technical/Scientific Journal category is a high honor. These awards are really a feather in our caps."
