The third edition of Fibers & Yarns Expo taking place from 24th to 26th April 2008 at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai, was inaugurated by Dr. J. N. Singh, Joint Secretary - Ministry of Textiles. Mr. Premal Udani, Immediate Past President - Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) was the Guest of Honour.
Fibers & Yarns Expo organized by Tecoya Infotech – a Tecoya Trend Publication Group Company – is only trade show of its kind in South Asia, which is now regarded to be a very vibrant meeting, marketing and networking forum for the Indian textile industry.
Leading overseas exhibitors like Invista (Lycra Fiber) from USA; Lenzing AG from Austria, Waxman Fibers from UK and China Soyabean Protein Fibre, China Textile Resource, Dezhou Huayuan Eco-Tech, HeBei Jigao Chemical Fibre Co from China are also participating in the exhibition.
In addition to the above companies, cream of Indian and overseas fibre and yarn spinners have unveiled their latest collection of Fibers and Yarns and their end products such as suitings, shirtings, knitwears, home textiles and apparels made from Natural Fibers such as Banana, Milk, Soya & Bamboo and Anti-Microbial, Water-Repellant and Flame-Retardant Fibers and yarns made from Silver, Viscose, Nylon, and Polyester.
