Secretary General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC, Mr. Abdalla Salem El-Badri is leading a delegation of the OPEC Secretariat on a visit to two of its Member Countries in Latin America, from 18-26 May, 2008.
The nine-day mission is part of the Secretary General's routine consultations with Member Countries.
While there, Mr. El-Badri will meet with leaders of the two countries - President Hugo Chavez Frias of Venezuela in Caracas and President Rafael Correas of Ecuador in Quito.
