The Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for February 2008 increased by 1.8 units or 1.2% to 148.9 units compared to 147.1 in January 2008.
For the period January-February 2008 the Index recorded an increase of 17.4% compared to the corresponding period of 2007.
According to provisional estimates the Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for March 2008 increased by 10.5 units or 7.1% to 159.4 units compared to 148.9 in February 2008.
For the period January-March 2008 the Index is provisionally estimated to have an increase of 13.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2007.
