All these factors have also rendered Indian exports non-competitive as India is facing stiff competition on export fronts not only from China but also countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and even Bhutan. As a result of tough competitions posed by these countries towards India, its traditional exports have suffered in the past which will continue to suffer even in future until exporters make amends to their products by technology infusion, concludes the ASSOCHAM analysis.
