Carpets and rugs trade association The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) will arrange its Annual meeting on November 2nd, 2005.
Simon van de Vrande, President of the European Carpet & Rug Association, will be the featured speaker at CRI's Annual Meeting which is slated for November 2 at the Northwest Georgia Convention and Trade Center.

This year's annual meeting will begin at 2 p.m. and will include remarks from CRI Board Chairman Russell Grizzle as well as former chairman Jeff Lorberbaum. Following the annual business meeting, van de Vrande will provide the keynote address. Kim Gavin, editor for Floor Covering Weekly, will also lead a panel discussion on the carpet industry today. Registration for this year's event is not required.
Dalton based The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) is the national trade association representing the carpet and rug industry. Headquartered in Dalton, Georgia, the Institute's membership consists of manufacturers representing over 90% of all carpet produced in the United States, and suppliers of raw materials and services to the industry. There is continued coordination with other segments of the industry, such as distributors, retailers, and installers.
