Smartasn's regional meeting agenda for '06

The international trade organization for the textile and nonwovens recycling industry (SMARTASN) Board of Directors approved the association's Regional Meeting schedule and format for 2006.

The SMART program will be enhanced to provide additional chapter and Board meetings.

Wednesday, January 25
Houston, Texas - 5 – 9 p.m.

Wednesday, June 14
Toronto, Canada - 5– 9 p.m.

Dynamic international association Smartasn is the international trade organization for the textile and nonwovens recycling industry.

It Founded in 1932, the Secondary Materials and Recycled Textile Association is composed of companies from the US, Canada, Mexico, South and Central America, Europe, and Pacific Rim countries who are involved in every phase of our industry.

These companies are involved with the grading and sorting of mixed post consumer textiles for the wiping materials and used clothing markets. Some are manufacturers and converters of nonwoven and paper products; sorters and distributors of new textile products and byproducts; manufacturers of textiles and many other types of companies. Still others deal in mill ends, remnants, fibers and related materials.
