Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (APIIDC) proposes to build a textile park near Guntur for processing 35 lakh bales of cotton manufactured once a year in the area.
APIIDC has identified land of two hundred acres for the said park, elaborated A Ramababu, APIIDC Chairman.
The park would comprise completely developed plots for building factories for processing, spinning, weaving and apparel manufacturing. Ramababu added that park will be conveniently located on the National Highway 5, nearly 15 km from Guntur.
APIIDC would create infrastructure, which consist of basic facilities like roads, electricity, water and greenery, added Ramababu.
