Rug & Textile Appreciation Morning
Tsutsugaki, Shibori & Kasuri: Japanese Resist-Dyeing Techniques SATURDAY, December 3, 10:30 am Jeff Krauss explores three dyeing techniques used in Japanese textiles. FREE; no reservations needed.
Conservation and Eastern Hemisphere Curatorial Consultation WEDNESDAY, December 7, 10:30 am - 1:00 pm Members of the Museum's curatorial and conservation staff will examine your textiles and provide information about how and where they were made, and how best to care for, store and display them. Bring up to three clean and well-vacuumed textiles. FEE: free/Textile Museum members; $5/non-members.
