The Beltwide Cotton Conferences coordinated by the National Cotton Council (NCC). "Strategies for Success" is the subject for the NCC-coordinated conferences, January 3-6, 2006 at the Marriott Rivercenter/Riverwalk hotels in San Antonio, Texas.
The three-day format, which proved popular for the 2005 conferences, will feature the Production Conference and its special seminars and workshops along with the 11 cotton technical conferences and The Cotton Foundation's technical exhibits.
Attendees must register online by going to the Beltwide web site at http://beltwide.cotton.org where general conference information also can be found. On-site registration will open Tuesday, January 3.
The Beltwide Cotton Conferences brings together those with a stake in a healthy US cotton production sector, including industry members, university and USDA researchers, Extension personnel, consultants and allied product and service providers. Attendance at the 2005 forum numbered more than 3,700.
The Conferences' success can be attributed to the alliance of the NCC and its many partners. Federal and state agricultural experiment stations, the Cooperative Extension Service, universities, USDA, Cotton Foundation members, news media and other regional and national cotton organizations all play an essential role in helping to increase U.S. cotton industry productivity.
The National Cotton Council (NCC) of America's mission is to ensure the ability of all U.S. cotton industry segments to compete effectively and profitably in the raw cotton, oilseed and US-manufactured product markets at home and abroad.
