'Now 2005,' an annual textile exhibition was inaugurated by Punjab Governor Lt Gen (rtd) Khalid Maqbool at the Punjab University (PU) College of Arts and Design (old campus).
Speaking on the occasion, Maqbool suggested new launch of programmes and diplomas at PU in line with market scenario.
State Government would give full support to PU in introducing educational projects, assured Maqbool, who also asked PU to team up with industries for offering quality education.
Responding to Maqbool's suggestion, Lt Gen (rtd) Arshad Mahmood, Vice Chancellor, PU stated that the University would like to start projects to benefit students.
