DuPont & Invista settle indemnification issue

DuPont and Invista have signed a settlement agreement that resolves a lawsuit related to indemnification provisions of the 2004 agreement for DuPont's sale of its textiles and interiors business to subsidiaries of Koch Industries, Inc.

The matter was being tried in a bench trial that began June 4 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
