A huge textile factory, the largest of its kind in the Middle East, will be operational in Ardebil Province by end this year, reported Iranian media.
The textile plant spread across 22 hectares area will cost about 1,500 billion rials.
Since Ardebil Province is the second largest cotton producer in Iran and possesses abundant supply of energy, the giant textile plant is expected to employ 4000 persons from this northwestern Iranian province.
High-tech machineries have been imported from Germany and Italy and the textile products would be exported throughtout the world.
