Woolmark to launch new Carpet Inspection Scheme at Surfaces

Leading wool fibre textile authority Woolmark is going to launch the new India Carpet Inspection Scheme at Surfaces, Las Vegas which is being introduced to provide quality, confidence, value and trust in sourcing floorcoverings from India.
The scheme is controlled by Woolmark which offers an international level of inspection and provides integrity to the programme to ensure a credible sourcing network of suppliers from India.
This will provide a valuable resource of suppliers and introduce a quality confirmed networking system for suppliers and buyers. Full details of the introduction of the India Carpet Inspection Scheme and information will be available on the Woolmark booth – 7532.
Woolmark have worked in collaboration with the British Wool Marketing Board to offer licensee partners display areas at the show which are encompassed under 'The World of Wool' banner and include licensees from India and New Zealand.
Woolmark's return to leading international trade fairs promoting wool and licensee products to retailers, buyers and designers is creating a network of global connections, putting people in touch throughout the wool textile pipeline.
On the Woolmark booth there will be information on the benefits of the Woolmark licensing programme, new color trend information for Interior Textiles 2007/08 and an extensive global resource guide which has been compiled frominformation received from exhibiting licensees and provides a 'one stop wool resource' for the wool and wool blend products shown on licensee booths.
