D&PL acquires Vikki's Agrotech of Hyderabad

US based Delta and Pine Land Company (D&PL), has taken over Vikki's Agrotech Private Limited, a Hyderabad-based commercial seed enterprise.
D&PL
announced that it was looking for more business opportunities in India.
It is a leading commercial breeder, producer and marketer of cotton plant seed.
D&PL has set up a research farm in northern India to develop products for the Punjab region.
Vikki's is licensed to distribute Monsanto's Bollgard and Bollgard II technologies in India.
