go texan adds local flavor
adding local flavor to the glm temporaries, go texan, a program under the texas department of agriculture, will showcase texas agricultural products – fiber, decorative accessories, textiles, gifts, wood and leather – with one identifiable trademark, a glowing brand in the shape of texas. participating go texan members will showcase leather goods, texas souvenirs and memorabilia, distressed wood and other texas-made products within the general gift, handmade and just kidstuff divisions.
d.i.c.e. awards honor outstanding new products
the glm temporaries once again will honor outstanding new product introductions with the d.i.c.e awards (design, innovation, creativity and excellence). a group of gift industry and trade show management representatives will judge d.i.c.e. competition entries and select a winning new product finalist and honorable mention in nine categories: at home; fine design; general gift; handmade, just kidstuff; mind, body & spirit; personal style; simply stationery and weddings. winners will beings. winners will be honored during an on-site awards presentation.
