Haggar appoints Gertrude Van Horn as Senior VP, CIO

Haggar Clothing Co has informed the appointment of Gertrude Van Horn to Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer.
Van Horn, in her role, will oversee all strategic, operational and financial aspects of the company's information technology infrastructure, including the manufacturing, sourcing, sales and retail sales chains. She will report directly to Jim Lewis, President and Chief Executive Officer of Haggar.
Prior to joining Haggar, Van Horn was Senior Vice President and CIO of Jo-Ann Stores in Hudson, Ohio, the nation's largest specialty retailer of fabrics. Previously, she held the positions of Vice President of Global Information Delivery Systems at Office Depot, Director of Enterprise Systems at Limited Brands, and Vice President / Technology Leader at American Express.
Lewis said, "Trude's experience in specialty retailing technology, and her expertise in technology leadership, make her ideally suited to setting the strategic direction and implementing the technological advances that will enable the Haggar team to achieve our aggressive growth plans."
