Martin Mills received four bids to buy the one million-square-foot textile plant near the border of St. Martinville, said Eric Martin, Mayor of the town.
Negotiations with buyers are expected to continue through next week.
However, Martin kept mum over the names of potential buyers.
The building has been vacant as former owner Fruit of the Loom closed its operation in 2001, discharging about 3,000 workers.
