Mattress Firm opens largest bedding store in Texas

The 'racetrack' floor plan allows customers to easily move throughout the store to browse and compare the different styles and brands, which are arranged by comfort level (pillowtop, plush, firm) and price.
"As we enter our 20th year in business, we're excited to unveil this new flagship store in our hometown of Houston," said Stagner.
"Sleep is among the most critical health concerns for consumers, yet mattress retailers have not kept pace with this need. We are committed to offering the broadest, most customized selection of mattresses, as well as knowledgeable staff to educate our customers on the new innovations in sleep comfort.
"In addition to offering a great retail experience for our customers, the large footprint of this store means it will play a significant role in many of our community outreach programs, serving as a local collection point for annual food, coat and toy drives. We'll also host special events here throughout the year, focused on sleep related topics."
The new store will host an upcoming Sleep Expo during May's 'Better Sleep Month' where doctors will be on-hand to offer free advice on how people can get a great night of sleep.
