Lohia Starlinger Ltd plans to achieve a turnover of Rs500 crore during the next three to four years.
The target has been set against previous year's sales of about Rs230 crore and about Rs201 crore achieved in 2004-05. To achieve this objective it has commenced with upgrading its machines and expansion of its capacity.
The company had a technical collaboration with Starlinger of Austria which ended ten years ago and still retains its 35 percent stake in the company.
It achieved technological advancement and became its main competitor in manufacturing of machines for woven plastic sack industry.
Lohia is confident of achieving target of Rs500 crore because packaging industry is set to expand with increase in GDP and agricultural output.
Lohia group has improved upon a machine called Tape Extrusion line to make yarn for fabrics, with a 950 kg per hour capacity.
The company exports to 50 countries in the world, spread over all continents.
The Lohias are established as a rising industry due to their perseverance as quality machine makers.
