Cape Wools SA supports the local Merino Wool industry and will host some of our top wool textile designers on the Design Indaba Expo 2014. (CTICC 28 Feb - 2 March 2014).

Ronel Jordaan will join us on the stand and show some of her beautiful Merino wool felt decor items, like the Lalibella Pouf. This chair was inspired by a trip to Ethiopia and was featured on Design Week in London last year. Ronel is inspired by nature and all the processes implemented in her workshop, are also eco-friendly.

Keiskamma is a community organization, situated in Hamburg, Eastern Cape and strives to foster hope and offer support to the most vulnerable. They empower the local community with wool and other creative textile art programmes.

Designer Veronica Betani, together with Nokuzola Mvapantsi and Xoliswa Mavela, are working on a wall hanging, that will celebrate Merino Wool in the Western Cape and especially in Cape Town, as the Design Capital of the World, 2014.
