Turkish textile firm Kigili and a leading Chinese industrial group Heilan Group are negotiating a partnership deal to open chain stores in China.

Speaking to media, Kigili CEO Abdullah Kigili said they will make smaller sizes for the Chinese and sell their goods like hotcakes in that country.

“They don't have such a concept in China. We know all about this business. I'm so sure of ourselves that without doubt we will cooperate.”

Heilan Group CEO Jianping Zhou and General Manager Jerry Sheng has already contacted Turkish firms producing men's suits in Istanbul. They have also met the Ramsey and Sarar companies officials during this visit.

Kigili said the Heilan Group has proposed a partnership both in China and in Turkey, adding that they were aware of the firm due to their past textile deals.

He added that the concept of a selling men's suits through stores has not fully matured in China.

“The Heilan Group deals only in production business. They want to move beyond that. We need to develop the store concept in order to sell our products. We have the expertise in sales and they lack in that as we know our business well.”

Expressing confidence about selling Turkish clothes like hot cakes in chinese markets, Kigili informs, “We'll reduce the sizes a little bit and dress the Chinese in nice clothes. We want to buy goods and we want to sell goods. In short, we are ready for and want to engage in any type of partnership. If not us today, then somebody else will enter China tomorrow. I'm so sure of myself that I can say this merger will certainly happen. I have no doubt about this.”
