Women's clothing retailer Bebe Stores Inc reported retail sales of $46.2 million for the four-week period ended April 29th 2006; an increase of 14.6 percent compared to sales of $40.3 million for the four-week period ended April 30th 2005.
Same store sales for the four-week period ended April 29th 2006 increased 5.7 percent compared to an increase of 31.2 percent for April 2005.
Retail sales for the year-to-date period ending April 29th 2006 were $472.1 million compared to $410.5 million for the year-to-date period ending April 30th 2005, an increase of 15.0 percent.
Same store sales for the year-to-date period ending April 29th 2006 increased 6.9 percent compared to an increase of 23.7 percent for the year-to-date period ending April 30th 2005.
As of April 29th 2006, finished goods inventory per square foot was approximately 6 percent higher as compared to the prior year.
