Arvind Mills to open a new garment unit in Ahmedabad SEZ

Khokhra locality in Ahmedabad is the new location for Arvind Mills to set up its latest manufacturing unit.
This unit will have a capacity of producing 1.5 million pieces of trousers with estimated investment worth Rs20 crore.
Company will add a capacity of 1 million pieces per annum to its existing knit garment operations.
To be set up at SEZ Apparel Park, the newly constructed park by the Gujarat Government is coming up on the land of now defunct Ambica Mill.
With two new garment manufacturing unit, one each in Ahmedabad and Bangalore,
Arvind Mills
will now focus more on garments.
In Bangalore, the Company will establish jeans manufacturing unit having 9 million pieces per annum capacity, said company sources.
