Fibre2fashion, a globally acknowledged business platform for the textile and apparel industry, is planning to launch a special feature on ‘Make in India’ to support the growth of the entire textile, apparel and allied industry value chain in India.

The special feature is being planned in the context of the ‘Make in India’ programme recently announced by the Indian Government to promote India as a global manufacturing destination, facilitate investment, foster innovation, and build best-in-class manufacturing infrastructure.

“Our special feature on ‘Make in India’ will provide a platform to the textile, apparel and allied industry value chain to highlight their strengths and capabilities. It will provide an opportunity to the participating companies to create awareness about their organization and reach elite audience of textile and apparel industry,” says Jose Daniel, executive director of Fibre2fashion.

Companies participating in the special online feature will be able to disseminate insightful information about their company’s brand, manufacturing facilities and strengths. The feature will help manufacturing industries to gain visibility in international market.

The feature will also provide information on various textile and apparel clusters in India and their contribution, and perspective of industry leaders on growth prospects and the road ahead.

The feature will discuss the advantages of manufacturing in India, the importance of the textile and apparel sector in Indian manufacturing and exports, the challenges for the growth of the technical textiles and nonwoven industry in India, among other things.

Along with the online feature, Fibre2fashion’s January 2015 edition of the magazine will exclusively focus on ‘Make in India’.

Since its incorporation in 2000, fibre2fashion.com has risen in popularity and the website today commands 12 million page views per month by about 1.9 million global visitors from around 190 countries.

Now in its third year, fibre2fashion magazine has circulation among carefully chosen target audience globally, and it reaches the desk of top management and decision makers in the textile, apparel and fashion industry.

Previously, Fibre2fashion has successfully organized special online features on textile machinery, nonwovens, and denims. (RKS)
