In a filing to the BSE, Century Textiles said that its Board of Directors at its meeting held on May 05, 2015, on recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Board appointed Rajashree Birla as an additional director under the category of promoter director.

The company has also informed the BSE that the Register of Members & Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from July 17, 2015 to July 28, 2015 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of payment of dividend and Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company to be held on July 28, 2015.

The Board of Directors has recommended dividend of Rs 5.50 on equity shares of Rs 10 each equivalent to 55 per cent on paid up equity share capital of the company for the year ended March 31, 2015. In the previous year the same amount was paid as dividend. The dividend will be made payable from July 31, 2015. (RKS)
