Fibre spinning project gets approval

Minister of Industry has recently approved adjustments within the pre-feasibility study project on fibre spinning line, the Ministry (MOI) stated.

Entire project envisages an outlay of VND 252,751 million (approx $15.7 million) for Hoa Tho garment company in Da Nang city and Phu Bai fibre joint stock company in Thua Thien Hue province.

The companies are expected to become operational from first quarter of 2007.

Phu Bai company's annual production capacity of 2,256 tons fibre include 100 percent spread cotton fibre, Peco fibre (in 65/35 ratio) and Viscose of 36.6 Nylon content.

Hoa Tho company manufactures 3,077 tons of fibre per year, where major products include 100 percent spread cotton fibre, Peco fibre (ratio of 65/35) and Viscose ones with 32 percent Nylon content.

Two 560 KVA electricity transformers will be installed at Hoa Tho company in order to operate unintrurrupted production line.

With an aim to develop countries textile sector, this project gains tremendous stature.
