Yung Nam Garment, joint stock company, has begun construction of its workshop at Giao Long industrial zone in Ben Tre Province.
The company has rented a plant spread over 1.6 hectares, which will be its first manufacturing unit in the region.
HCM city – based garment company plans to install 14 sewing lines to reach production capacity of over three million pieces each year.
Products worth VND 16 billion will be exported on completion of this project.
Plant is expected to employ 600-700 employees once completely operational by October 2006.
