Solutia Inc will increase the price on all nylon carpet fiber products by 5 to 7 percent for all shipments on or after July 5, 2006.
"Sustained increases in both raw material and energy costs have made this price increase necessary," said Gary Lanser, general manager, Solutia Carpet Fiber.
