Haggar appoints Edward Jones III as CMO of Men's and Women's Wear

Clothing retailer Haggar Clothing Co has announced the appointment of Edward Jones III to the position of Chief Merchandising Officer of Men's and Women's Wear.
Jones is responsible for all merchandising and design operations for both Men's and Women's Wear. This includes all product categories, brand/labels for all channels of distribution. In addition to this appointment he will continue his role as President and Creative Director of Women's Wear. He will continue to report to Jim Lewis, Haggar President and CEO.

Prior to joining Haggar, Jones was CEO and Chairman of the Board of GM Design Group Ltd, of which he had a leveraged buyout in 2004. He oversaw the re-positioning and expansion of the Sigrid Olsen brand, which culminated in a record valuation and sale to Liz Claiborne Inc in 1999.
Jones was the Chief Architect of the segmentation of the Perry Ellis brand, and consulted on the creation of the Calvin Klein home collection. Jones's consulting firm, Jones Texas Inc, specializes in brand positioning, strategic planning, product development and image consultation.
Edward Jones is a member of the Boards of Directors of the Foundation for Fashion Institute of Technology and the American Apparel and Footwear Association, and a member of the Board of Advisors for The Fashion Group International.
