Indian kids can don Superman brand apparel brought by Indian textile major Raymond which sealed the deal recently for an undisclosed.

Raymond signed a two-year contract with Warner Bros Entertainment's to use its brands – Zapp and Parx.

To cash on hype created by the blockbuster movies of like name, Raymond is also exploring possibilities to buy rights for Spiderman and Batman also, it is learnt.

With Superman in their kitty, Raymond achieves unique distinction of becoming the first company to bag rights for the superhero in India.

Applicability and utility of Superman logo will also be explored for its other brands as well as for other segments.

The agreement accords Raymond rights to manufacture T-shirts with Warner Bros keeping the product quality under its tab.

While 10 Zapp! and other multi brand stores in the offing across the country, forth coming release of Superman movie will boost up the retail fortunes of Raymond, claim optimistic company officials.
