Metro Cash & Carry is going to establish a center of sourcing and buying Vietnamese goods to export.
Chief products focused include textile and garment, footwear, furniture and seafood, renonwed for ample production and low price in the country.
Currently, Metro exports monthly six million euros worth of these goods, bringing great profits to Vietnamese manufactures.
Uwe Hoelzer, General Director of Metro opined that entering WTO will allow easier access to Vietnam for export and import, offering domestic farmers and manufacturers opportunities in international market participation.
Metro Cash & Carry is one of few Retail Giants participating in Vietnam, which is being considered as the third attractive retail market in the world.
