Manufacturer of paper tubes used for winding polyester and nylon yarn in textile mills, Bilcare's yearly profit has moved up 62 percent to Rs.39.77 crores as sales rose from Rs.163.54 crores to Rs.238.69 crores during the year.
Its shares recently zoomed to 10 percent to Rs.418.85 on the BSE.
The company recently posted a jump of 72 per cent in its net profit for the March 2006 quarter to Rs.13.70 crores and an increase of more than 40 per cent in its sales from Rs.48.43 crores to Rs.69.76 crores for the corresponding period.
