According to the provincial trade department, three foreign-invested companies have been licensed bringing its total number to nine in the Vinh Long Province.
Richtex Viet Nam Co Ltd, US $1 million factory, a wholly foreign-invested garment maker will shortly open a production facility offering 780 local jobs.
It will have a capacity to produce 100,000 pieces of sportswear, 930,000 T-shirts and 890,000 coats yearly when fully operational.
