Teko will continue to use renewable fibers with Ingeo socks, made from a sustainable, corn-based fiber.

These socks will be 98 percent petroleum-free, made out of Ingeo and Lycra.

Company is trying to find out option of non-petroleum without compromising on their high-performance criteria.

By replacing petroleum to non-petroleum, fossil fuel content will reduce 20 to 50 percent in production of Ingeo.

Teko has collaborated with Tasmanian Merino to develop biodiversity plans for raising sheep while protecting fragile alpine regions and promoting native ecosystems.
