Employees of the Thulhiriya Kabool Lanka weaving mills were uncertain about their future after it was closed down by Korean investors.
Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa has announced to assist 3,200 employees by allotting Rs950 million.
Mass Holding Ltd, a company interested to invest in Thulhiriya Kabool Lanka will provide Rs700 million and remaining amount will be provided by the Government.
Mass Holding is expected to invest Rs10 billion for advancement of Thulhiriya facility.
