Formosa to form oil exploration company FPCC USA

Island's only private refiner Formosa Petrochemical Corp is to invest US $20 million to form 100 percent subsidiary FPCC USA Inc in the United States.
This subsidiary will be formed for better oil exploration to secure crude supplies.
This is the first time Formosa is going independently for oil exploration.
Formosa
has the refining capacity of 510,000 barrel per day and annual ethylene capacity of 1.6 million tons.
