San Jose Ethan Allen is a privately held corporation founded in 1972 with the opening of their first Ethan Allen store in San Jose. A second store in Saratoga was opened in 1992, followed by a third store in Newark (Fremont) which opened in 1997. The fourth store, serving the Salinas/Monterey market, opened in 2000.
