Family Dollar Stores Inc announced that it has named Michael Laurenti to the position of Vice President - Information Technology.

Prior to joining Family Dollar, Mr. Laurenti was employed by Linens 'N Things as Vice President - Business and Technology Services. Mr. Laurenti earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Business Administration from Cornell University.
