Clearer Control Unit (CCU 2006) for QUANTUM 2
Uster Technologies AG announces the release of a further advancement to the most successful USTER QUANTUM clearers. Starting from the last quarter of 2006, Uster Technologies will deliver a new control unit for its clearers – the CCU 2006. The CCU 2006 incorporates state of the art technology in hardware and software including a high resolution 12.1” color touch screen.
The CCU 2006 replaces all previous models including the QUANTUM SG 99 and SG 2000 one to one without any external adaptation. For existing SG 2000 customers, the transition is made easy with a very similar but simpler operation mode for the CCU 2006.
The advanced, robust thermal printer (only for standalone installations) offers faster and sharper printouts. Additional interfaces including USB allow faster and easier software upgrades, data export and diagnostics.
The CCU 2006 is capable of displaying and printing Chinese characters on all winders. This would allow the wide base of USTER QUANTUM customers in China to interpret and apply all features in detail, leading ultimately, to better yarn quality.
A user friendly menu structure, shorter menu navigation, improved graphics and several new information are the other attractive benefits.
